Wolezek Gooseneck Grow Light Review: What I Used It For
I used this light mainly for growing basil indoors.
Basil is a good test plant for a cheap grow light because it needs enough light to stay compact and leafy, but it is not as demanding as crops like tomatoes or peppers.

The short version is simple: buy the Wolezek for a small basil pot. Buy a proper panel light if you want to grow a real indoor crop.

The Wolezek gooseneck grow light I used has three flexible gooseneck arms, a clip-on base, several light modes, dimming levels and built-in timer options.
The flexible arms are useful because you can angle the lights towards the plant from different sides. This is one of the better parts of the design.
The clip is also convenient if you have a shelf, table edge or plant stand to attach it to. You do need a stable place to clip it, though. If the clip is attached to something flimsy, the three arms can pull it out of position.
